The Biryani Pot
In a market dominated by multinationals, major restaurants and food chains, we are a startup hoping to empower the 'common man' - whether it be the home-based vendor looking to expand their business, or the student or worker looking for affordable, home-cooked food for their work week. Our ability to deliver on this is contingent on our ability to think outside The Biryani Pot, to embrace new and different ways of thinking and working, and to execute on our ideas with speed and precision.
I, Australian
Our business is centred around connecting everyday Australians with the breadth of cuisines available from across the world, and this places diversity at the heart of our business. We have the privilege of living in a proud, multicultural nation on the land of the world's oldest civilisation, and we hope our platform brings down barriers to provide and promote better understanding of the world's cultures and their food. Through our passion for inclusivity across age, race, sexuality, skills, background and any other differences we may share, our hope is the world we leave behind is more inclusive than the world we inherited.
A party without food?
The executive team of Tifyn are childhood friends, with shared experiences from school, university, sporting teams and now, business. The tears, laughter and memories we shared together is the bond on which we started our latest adventure. We made sure the team we built around us fit into our family so that we can have fun on our journey together. The bottom line - we are fun, food is fun, Tifyn is fun. A party without food? Count me out.
Trust is hard to come by...
If you've read this far and still have questions - we'll spell it out for you. We're here to have fun, to deliver an amazing service and platform, break down some barriers and do our bit for a better world tomorrow. But none of this would be possible without trust, honesty, fairness and integrity in our dealings with our customers, vendors and our service providers. Trust is hard to come by - but affordable, home-cooked food doesn't need to be.
Our Hive
The world is changing, and the impact of humans is without doubt. As our climate becomes more volatile and our list of endangered and extinct species lengthens, our team at Tifyn hope to promote better business practices and awareness of single-use plastics and environmentally-friendly alternatives in the hospitality industry to reduce harm to Our Hive. Our team are always open to suggestions and opportunities to reduce our environmental footprint, so please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any ideas!
